Steps To Receiving Home Care With a Family or Friend Caregiver

If you or a loved one needs help at home, you may be able to choose a trusted family member or friend to be your caregiver—while they get paid for the care they provide. In New Hampshire, this is possible through CFI—a state program that supports people living with disability, illness, or age-related challenges. Many people don’t know this option exists or that they might qualify. We’ve created a dedicated page where you can learn more about who qualifies, what’s covered, and how to get started.

Client Stories

“Anne is hands down the most wonderful aide I’ve ever had. She takes care of everything I need–laundry, cleaning, and more. She’s always there for me, even in the middle of the night. I really appreciate all her hard work, and I just love when she comes by. Anne is the sweetest, and I want everyone to know how much she means to me”.
