Senior Care Services

Aging Brings Physical and Mental Changes That Can Feel Scary

As seniors experience mobility limitations, cognitive changes, or other age-related challenges, the right support can help them remain safe, independent, comfortable, and dignified at home.

How Guardian Home Care of MI Can Help

Through Michigan’s Home Help Program, seniors can receive care from a trusted family or friend caregiver. Caregivers can assist with daily tasks such as mobility, personal hygiene, meals, homemaking, errands, communication, and companionship—helping seniors stay engaged, safe, and supported while also ensuring caregivers are compensated.

Steps To Receiving Senior Care With a Family or Friend Caregiver

Onboarding of The Family Caregiver

We sign up the family or friend caregiver on CHAMPS, where state will initiate their background check. If they’re eligible, we send them an offer letter and access to a 6-hour online training.

Start of The Paid Care

The family caregiver can clock in and out when providing care and receive their pay weekly through direct deposit.

Client Stories

“Anne is hands down the most wonderful aide I’ve ever had. She takes care of everything I need–laundry, cleaning, and more. She’s always there for me, even in the middle of the night. I really appreciate all her hard work, and I just love when she comes by. Anne is the sweetest, and I want everyone to know how much she means to me”.

“Thank you for sending Stevie! Oh I just loved her to pieces, I just wanted to let you know that she did a wonderful job and I could probably just keep her forever.”

We strive to be the trusted partner families turn to for reliable and compassionate care in the comfort of their own homes. We also support Family Caregivers to get paid for the care they already provide.
