Already caring for your family. Let’s get you paid for it.
Through Kansas Medicaid waivers and MCO partnerships, an eligible spouse, adult child, relative, or friend can be paid a real wage to care for a loved one at home. Guardian Home Care of KS handles the enrollment and paperwork — and if you need extra hands, we can also match you with a certified, screened Home Health Aide.

Start getting paid
Once approved, you’re set up as your loved one’s paid caregiver, with Guardian Home Care of KS managing your hours, pay, and support.
Family caregiver first — with backup if you need it
Most families start by getting a loved one paid to provide care. If no family member or friend is available, we can also screen and place a certified Home Health Aide.
Become a paid family or friend caregiver
Get paid to provide the care you already give. We support both agency-directed care and self-direction with Financial Management Services (FMS), depending on what fits your family best.

- Guidance through FE, PD, BI waivers, MCOs & more
- We handle payroll, HR & background approval
No family caregiver available? We can hire one.

What family caregivers say
Anne is hands down the most wonderful aide I’ve ever had. She takes care of everything I need — laundry, cleaning, and more. She’s always there for me, even in the middle of the night. I want everyone to know how much she means to me.

Got questions about becoming a paid caregiver?
In many cases, a spouse, adult child, other relative, or close friend can be approved as a paid caregiver, depending on the waiver, MCO, or program your loved one qualifies for, and background check approval where required.
We can screen, train, and place a certified Home Health Aide to provide care instead, coordinated through the same waiver or MCO benefit your loved one qualifies for.
We have experience with the Frail Elderly (FE), Physical Disability (PD), and Brain Injury (BI) waivers, Kansas MCOs, the Senior Care Act, and the Older Americans Act.
Agency-directed means we manage payroll, scheduling, and compliance directly. Self-directed care lets you manage more of the day-to-day, with our support through Financial Management Services (FMS).
