Our Home Care Services

Whether you’re a senior, living with a physical disability, recovering from a brain injury, or caring for a loved one, our care team builds a support plan around what matters most to you. At Guardian Home Care of KS, we proudly serve clients across Central Kansas through Medicaid waiver programs, state-funded initiatives, and private pay, offering flexible options for various needs and family situations.

You Have Options When It Comes to Home-Based Care

Every person’s care needs and preferences are different. That’s why we offer a variety of home care services — from direct caregiving by our trained staff to support for family and friend caregivers. We create custom care plans built around your goals, health needs, daily routines, and preferences. Services are available through Medicaid waivers (PD, FE, BI) and county grants (such as the Older Americans Act and Senior Care Act) for those who don’t qualify for Medicaid. Here are some of the ways we can help:

Frail Elderly Care

Support for adults aged 65+ who need help with daily activities, who meet the level-of-care criteria for nursing home care, but wish to remain at home. Services may be covered through the FE waiver, private pay, or available grant programs.

Physical Disability Care

Support for adults with acquired or congenital physical disabilities, including arthritis, dialysis-related needs, and mobility challenges. Services may be covered through the PD waiver, private pay, or available grant programs.

Brain Injury Support

Care for individuals recovering from traumatic or non-degenerative brain injuries, such as from a stroke, fall, or car accident with or without head trauma. Services may be covered through the BI waiver, PD waiver, private pay, or available grant programs.

Family & Friend Caregiver Support

We help eligible family members and friends get paid to care for their loved ones at home, either through our agency-directed model or self-directed care with Financial Management Services (FMS). Available through waivers, MCOs, and the Older Americans Act (with background check approval).

Respite Care

Short-term in-home care to give family caregivers a break while ensuring loved ones receive quality support. Covered options include private pay and, in some cases, waivers like the FE or PD waiver. State-funded respite care programs may also apply.
