Family Caregiver Program
The Medicaid Waiver Program
The Family Caregiver Program, also called the Medicaid Waiver Program, is designed to support individuals who find themselves caring for a family member, a friend, or a neighbor. Through this program, and in partnership with home care agencies like Guardian Home Care USA, family caregivers can receive wages and benefits for the care they already provide. They also receive recognition and support so they can deliver care without compromising their needs and well-being.
How Do I Qualify For The Family Caregiver Program?
Some states require further criteria, for example, in regards to the relationship with the family caregiver. Find out more at Medicaid.gov’s Home & Community-Based Services page.
Want to know if we service your state? Visit our Locations page and see if there’s a local office in your area, or give us a call. We’d love to guide you on the steps for qualification and how to receive home care benefits through us.
